3rd place at the Federal Moot Court Final in Graz for the team supported by GASSER PARTNER and the University of Innsbruck

With the victory at the Moot Court of the University of Innsbruck in January this year, the team supported by GASSER PARTNER and the University of Innsbruck qualified for the federal finals 2017 in Graz. On this occasion, the team from Innsbruck won the remarkable third place. GASSER PARTNER congratulates Alice An, Sophie Herdina and Vanessa Pfurtscheller on this success.

The judge’s council of the “Supreme Moot Court” consisted of Dr. Elisabeth Lovrek (Vice President of the Austrian Supreme Court), RA Dr. Gabriele Krenn (President of Styria Bar Association) and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Brigitta Lurger. The task of the student teams was to convince this high-class judge’s council by written pleadings and subsequently by a hearing of the represented position. In addition, the teams had to answer a number of questions from the judge’s council.

Mag. Manfred Keller, MBA and Domenik Vogt, LL.M., LL.M., from GASSER PARTNER and the University of Innsbruck were responsible for assisting the Innsbruck team in compiling the written pleadings and preparing the team for the hearing. The team from Innsbruck proved again to be very well prepared and demonstrated its brilliance by its professional, tactical and self- confident manner and not least by an excellent oral pleading. In answering the critical questions of the judge’s council on the submitted pleadings and the hearing, the Innsbruck team was able to shine its extensive and well-founded expertise.

GASSER PARTNER wishes Alice An, Sophie Herdina and Vanessa Pfurtscheller further on a lot of success in their career.
