Bernhard Motal

Dr. Bernhard Motal is a Partner at Gasser Partner. He specializes in corporate, foundation, and trust law, with a strong focus on complex international disputes. He provides comprehensive legal advice to his clients in all areas of business law and has extensive expertise in complex cross-border civil and arbitration proceedings, including asset tracing and asset recovery. One of his key areas of focus is advising high-net-worth private clients in international settings.

Dr. Bernhard Motal is the author of more than 50 publications in the fields of corporate, foundation, and trust law, litigation and arbitration, inheritance law, international private law, and civil law. He has served as a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt and Comenius University in Bratislava and regularly speaks at national and international conferences and seminars.

Prior to joining Gasser Partner, he held various positions, including serving as a university assistant at the Institute of Civil Law at the University of Vienna, as a legal researcher at the Austrian Supreme Court, and at a renowned Austrian business law firm.
