Biography
Christina Pointner is Managing Attorney specializing in banking and financial market law, insurance law and investment fund law. She advises in licensing and supervisory proceedings, on the development of legally compliant business models and products, the implementation of regulatory requirements, as well as on financing and M&A transactions in regulated sectors. In addition, she supports private clients and family offices in structuring regulated and unregulated wealth management vehicles.
Prior to joining Gasser Partner, she worked on regulatory projects at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and at the Chair of Banking & Financial Market Law at the University of Liechtenstein.
She is an active author and speaker in the fields of banking, financial market, and corporate law. Her doctoral thesis on regulated investments and family offices was published in 2020.
